Trinity told me and her mom, Markeeter Knox that she wanted to write books like me when she grew up after I visited her school for a book reading and craft activities. Her mom asked was she too young to write a book since she’s only 6-years-old. I gave her the same advice that my dad gave me when I wrote my first book at 12-years-old. Large retailers (e.g. Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million, etc) and publishers (e.g. Random House, Harper Collins, etc) infer that it’s difficult to find quality books that are written by black authors and other minorities. I’m only in Chapter 6 of Will given that I just started reading it yesterday morning. While that’s the case I’m totally blown away by Will Smiths (The Fresh Prince) ability to tell stories. This book is a work of cinematic genius from its cover to its interior. What I’m saying here is that while I’ve only read at most 20% of the book, it’s by far one of the best that I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading. I won’t do as others have done in sharing spoilers but I will say that
