Miss Wake County

Updated: Dec 30, 2021

Sharniece Springs is a native of Havelock, NC. Havelock is a small town in Craven County which served as the landing point for the Battle of New Bern in the Civil War. While she was born in Havelock, she was raised in Charlotte, NC.

Sharniece is a full time pre-law student at the prestigious University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC) and she's a professional plus sized model. She has the distinction of having previously been crowned as Miss North Carolina International for 2020. But not only that, she is proud to represent Wake County in the upcoming Miss North Carolina USA Competition from January 28-29, 2022.

Sharniece has made several appearances throughout North Carolina and beyond in promotion of her “Love Your Genes“ Platform. The impetus behind it is to teach young women and women in general about body inclusivity, body diversity, self compassion, and self love. With that in mind, we at The Primplife Plan and The Rules of a Big Boss are well pleased to announce that she will be joining us as a special guest at our Remodel U Workshop on January 8, 2022. What's most special about this event is that it will be facilitated in my hometown of Greensboro, NC. That in in and of itself affords me and us an opportunity to give back in large because there is no cost associated with attendance. We only ask that attendees wear a white t-shirt and their jeans with respect to Sharniece‘s Love Your Genes Platform. You can read more about Sharniece by going here. I also recorded a video discussing this and how it all came together. You can watch the replay by going here.

Also of note is that Sharniece is raising funds to help defray the cost of travel and wardrobe on her path to the crown. Those of you who feel inclined to donate to her as we at Primplife have can do so via CashApp ($SharSprings4).

Thank you for stopping by and we hope to see you on January, 8, 2022 at our Remodel U Workshop.
