Did you know that a spokesperson is someone who is entrusted to speak on behalf of someone else or an institution?
Whether you were aware of that or not, I’m proud to announce that my daughter Haelee, has officially been chosen as a spokes girl for The Primplife Plan. Haelee and five other young ladies are responsible for leading the way in inspiring the next generation of young women by showing others how to Primplife or make their life as beautiful as possible. They achieve this goal by serving as guest facilitators at workshops, through their comic book series which features them, and other matters of the sort. But not only that, the young ladies learn the basics of entrepreneurship through the founder, Jasmine Jones in the establishment of their own Primpgloss Line. Haelee is the oldest of the group so she has the special assignment of serving as a big sister to the other young ladies. You can read about them all by going here.
Primplife is a 501c3 non-profit whose goal is to bolster the self confidence and self image of each and every girl particularly girls of color between the ages of 6-14. They inspire them through positive media representation and outlets so they will grow up to be leaders, community changers, business owners, college graduates and emotionally/socially secure women. I’m told that they have a workshop next month that’s going to feature some very exclusive guests. I’ve been swore to secrecy so I can’t let the cat, Mocha Frape out of the bag just yet.
With all of that being said, I can’t poke out my chest any further than I have in pride of these young ladies. I would rupture my sternum if I tried. Given that sentiment would you be so kind as to join me in congratulating all of these young ladies particularly Jasmine Jones for the work that she’s doing to empower others? I mean I’m more proud of Jasmine than I am my own daughter particularly given that she’s young enough to be my daughter.
Oh yeah and before I forget, I was chosen as a Spokes Dad. I didn’t make the cut on the website but I’m authorized to share tea. Oh yeah and I get a t-shirt too. So congratulate this 👴🏾 too while you’re at it 🤣
