Shermaine Perry-Knights is an award winning project manager, instructional designer, educator, public speaker, and policy analyst. But more than that, she’s a wife, a military brat, and a fellow author who I am happy to call my friend. Those of you that don’t know her can read more about her by going here. Shermaine has taken it upon herself to provide comfort for children in Uvalde, TX by way of books. She has teamed up with fellow authors to raise funds to donate 600 books by diverse authors to the children. I was more than happy to make a donation after catching wind of her vision. They’re now 97% of the way towards meeting their well intended goal
