Her book, You Can Have Your Cake And Grandparents Too!", is a heartwarming story about a young man who absolutely adores all 6 of his grandparents.
I received an autographed copy of, You Can Have Your Cake and Grandparents Too in the mail today and I I kid you not when I say that I could read it over and over again. I say that in large because it rekindled fond memories of my grandmothers when I was younger. While the scenes depicted within the pages, were somewhat different than my personal experience as a child, they were still interrelated particularly the parts where the titular character who I presume to the the authors son helped his grandparents prepare a feast. I also loved the colorful poem that concluded the story.
I cannot begin to thank the author, C.L. Holliday-Firmin enough for the smile that she put on my face in reading this story. It truly is marvelous. Given that sentiment, I’d recommend You Can Have Your Cake and Grandparents Too to any child that has a loving relationship with their grandparents whether they’re big (like me) or small.
